‘No Matter What’ E.P.
A tribute to Japan
SANDALINAS will release through AFM records a digital E.P. called “No Matter What a Tribute to Japan”; all the benefits for the artist stemming out of the sales of the EP will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross. Please find attached the cover of the E.P. as designed by Cyriel Vaes; The E.P consists of two songs previously unreleased remaining from the recording sessions of SANDALINAS two albums, LIVING ON THE EDGE and FLY TO THE SUN; the tracks are called “Battlefield Blues” which is an electric version as singed by APOLLO PAPATHANASIO (currently in Firewind) and No Matter What (version without narration) as singed by RICK ALTZI, also in AT VANCE and FREQUENCY.respectively .

New album ‘Circles’ to be released 2012
Guitarist Jordi Sandalinas, vocalist Rick Altzi (At Vance) and producer Andy LaRocque (King Diamond) have been recently working on the production and mixing of Circles, SANDALINAS’ third album to be released next year by a label whose details still have to be disclosed. A new song written by Andy LaRocque and Rick Altzi has been added to the track list of SANDALINAS third long-lenght album called “Haunted Visions”. SANDALINAS third album will be a state of the art metal masterpiece featuring speed metal, heavy metal and melodic tracks that will mean a step forward on the band’s career. Chris Caffery from SAVATAGE and TRANSIBERIAN ORCHESTRA has also written two songs for the album called “Small World” and “Endless Roads”. SANDALINAS band is formed by vocalist RICK ALTZI (AT VANCE), guitarist JORDI SANDALINAS, bassist MATS RENDLERT (DREAMLAND) and drummer ALVARO SVANERÖ (ex-LOCH VOSTOK).
SANDALINAS latest album, FLY TO THE SUN and debut album LIVING ON THE EDGE, featuring FIREWIND’s singer APOLLO PAPATHANASIO, was also recorded and produced by Andy La Rocque at his Los Angered Recording (now Sonic Train Studios) in Sweden.
SANDALINAS has been proud to unite in their precedent albums talented musicians such as PATRICK JOHANSSON (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, G3), MICK CERVINO (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, G3, BLACKMORE’S NIGHT and VIOLENT STORM) and DEREK SHERINIAN (DREAM THEATER) among other artists. Also SANDALINAS also toured and performed gigs supporting international well-known acts such as SCORPIONS, MICHAEL SCHENKER, Y&T and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. JORDI SANDALINAS also toured with STEVE LUKATHER in Spain supporting his debut solo album INSIGHT.
SANDALINAS LIVING ON THE EDGE album cover was designed by THOMAS EWERHARDT (ASIA). FLY TO THE SUN cover cover and artwork was designed by DEREK RIGGS (IRON MAIDEN, GAMMA RAY) and PETE ALANDER (K.K. DOWNING, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) respectively. PETE ALANDER will be in charge of the design of SANDALINAS forthcoming album CIRCLES.
